Mr.Noob Question :)

right i aint touched any sort of server files in years and playing about with some 1.4 files , when i make a map put the walls round n that the tiles start covering walls up ( when i try to tile floor lol) do i need to do atributes or something?

any help with map making would be a great help

You doing fill all on the tiles? Best to use the brush option and fill small spaces at a time, then you the detail tiles to go over any tiles/half tiles you missed near the edges.

Im not sure if the attributes affects the filling of floor tiles, but if it does show all the attributes and look for any small gaps around your wall edges. Also bear in mind that the area outside of the walls needs to be filled it attributes also.

Can i ask, do you refresh the image? As normally when you do the objects go on top of the tiles. Attributes have nothing to do with tiles and floor... (unless your using objects made out of tiles, with atributes, then you will)

So try refreshing it ( zoom in/out, undo something etc..) If it doesnt work, do tiles then objects XD
