msdb, CruelDragon3GBaseData, and Hero3G db's are now "Suspect"

msdb, CruelDragon3GBaseData, and Hero3G db's are now "Suspect". We had a power cut @ home, so I shut the server down..

Also, due to the issue with Timed items during december I changed the system date from December to November. When the server started back up, I fixed the date (as its no longer December) and restarted the PC.

Now I have the Error shown at the top, I cannot do anything.. :S

Anyone know WTF I can do about it?

maybe kill all logs inside sql ?? who enter wich time and so on ... let the items in store and so on i mean rly only the logins .....

I usually back up all db's before I shut down just in case of an issue like this, but on this occasion I just did a quick shut down as my UPS was about to give up..

I am trying to fix with a new msdb database atm, but its not liking me

Happend to me before, had to do a server rewind to last backup.

I un-installed SQL, Re-installed.

Restored the last back up of the databases.

Also, this is now showing errors when I try to run a query on some of the databases. Kaori has suggested I copy the contents of each table into a new database then delete the old one.

Mick are you still using 2000, if so upgrade to 2005 and you won't get the issue anymore.

2005 is great to use and has a lot more feature to it than 2000, the intergrated security system on 2005 is far superior to 2000.

The thing that annoyed us the most though, was the fact that it didn't have a manger with it. Though these are easy to come by now.

I would sugest updating to 2005.

Thats why I didn't use it.. I was like.. how the hell do I do anything!

2000 is easy enough to use.. and it does the job..

How can you do this, it just simple copy tables to notepad one by one?

I setup a auto backup on my home pc otherday and some reason it turned the gamdb into a 550mb .BAK file and the db is just over 120gb, can you make it smaller?

Cant be 120gb of text can it?

Use the compression in SQL backup....

Illusion Server Use SQL2005 since it come out and we have no Problems. all I dislike on the new one is the QueryAnalyser it is now integret in the Manager direct. Convert 2000 -> 2005 is no more a problem, the updates has fix all the old problems. For To big DB use the SQL Compress tool, is on all the CD Package found.
