Argh really pissing me off now.

My laptop is on Windows 7. Everythings working fine and dandy... Apart from MSN Messenger!!

Its installed, but doesnt launce... if I try open it manually, nothing happens. i go to task manager, theres 2 "msnmsg.exe" running. one is the one i just launced and I can end process theo ther is the one from startup (As MSN defaults to load on startup).

i have a PC on Windows 7 connected with wire, msn works fine. Another laptop on Vista with wireless connection... works fine

i have tried:

Resetting router (As per goole search)
uninstalling and reinstalling
Uninstalling, removing reg keys, temp internet files ect
Running a spyware prog... but I;m on a freshly installed Windows 7 anyway so theres FA on there.
Turning firewall off
Allowing some ports on the router

Im not 100% on this but, try and play with the registry file for msn (google how to get the regististry file) then try re installing it or something this may help but as i said not 100%

Sounds dodgey.. mine doesnt do this! Are you downloading and installing it from the msn website?

You could disable msn from the startup progs and then launch it yourself.
