To all the Staff and Mir Community Merry Christmas to all.

Just want to say thanks alot for the event to the staff and was clearly loads of work had gone into it. A good bit of downtime but clearly with so much work had gone into it.. it was expected.
Maybe for next event u start it 2 weeks earlier when were not all off work and trying to hide from the family.

And my final Summary of the Xmas event is exactly how Chang would say

I know the event has been worked on by the team and I don't want to seem ungrateful but to be honest it is a little bit of a shamble.

The event mobs are in all cave's (low level cave's) which means that high levels are farming low level caves to get the gingerbreadmen and reindeers. My dad started less than a week ago level 25-30 was PK'd by a level 50 for a lure of reindeers... The gingerbreadmen 1 hit him. The event was not very well thought out. The whole 'bigboss' thing like in any event is mostly team orientated and only up for grabs by big guilds.

Would have been better to just add few mobs around prov's for gear / resources to make xmas gear, xmas boss spawn x2 daily , x2 exp

and the xmas tree off course :P

but cheers for the effort! :P

The event is spot one.

Low level reward are the raindeers that give 12k Exp, a monster that has 0 damage and 0 AC. (This still great Exp for lvl40-45 easy)

The Gingerbreadman are more for the high levelers which leads you to get santa sacks which give Gems/Benes which appeal more to high levelers then low levelers.
Maybe they should of scaled the damage on them depending which cave it is to suit the level.

As well as the santa gear, very decent gear for both if you ask me.

The reindeers give better exp than top end caves. E.g. HyperViper had 2hit the mobs for an each 12k, hence the mobs being farmed by higher levels. Also high levels raiding low caves for gingerbreadman. Not a good setup.

Could easily just scale the drops from the mobs. The ones in the better caves have a higher chance of dropping higher level items.

While I really appreciate the effort that's put in to each and every event, I'm not really impressed with this one.
Medallions are the only item worth having and they're broken.
The stats on the Hat, Boots and gloves are pretty average, most people have better stats on their original kit.
CandyCains can only be used up to level 45, which again, rules out the majority of the server.
Most of the event based items are non trade and expire on the 6th anyway so there's no opportunity to make some gold from the event.
The rewards coming from the Sacks and presents make hunting the gingerbread men a waste of time.

I'm not really sure why but the Team seem to be almost afraid of hosting an event that can yield some serious rewards for time invested.

On a brighter note, the exp from reindeers is nice and the 10k gg is very much appreciated.

I'd like to see the medallions fixed and the expiration date removed, they have durability, making them consumable anyway, so there's really no need. Also consider making them tradable to give people something to farm and make a bit of gold from.

Just my opinion, hope you guys had a good Christmas dispite all the issues server wise.

The medal slot does work on the unstable server files, once these are sorted and the team get to the issue that is causing this then the medal slot items will work.

Any chance of making them not expire BH? They are limited by durability and can't be repaired.

Don't think they should be made tradable though.

There was a plan to craft them all together and make a perm item.

There was also a hidden part of the event I was going to do that would give a perm item for the medal slot but as we all know the unstable server files put a dent in the idea.

i like events, but i think this was over engineered..
Trees with a chance of a gift box and scaleable exp for the diff lvls so we all get the equivalent whatever your lvl is a better way to go.
no incentive to pk anyone either this way or to farm a respawn area. ive not seen a gingerbread man!
