My new graphics card :)

Had a BFG GeForce 6800 GS OC 256MB yestuday, is a damn fine card it plays anything on high spec but i took the most of it and added an extra gig of ram, if you happen to have spare cash, get this card i garantee you will love it.

Actually it's not a recommended buy since it's quite overpriced for an AGP card and it's too close in price range to the better, yet still overpriced for performance, 7800 GS.

Only over priced if you do not know where to look , but since it runs any game on full spec for AGP on say my athon 3200 for example its just as good as a 300 pound alternative, but then again urban :P who cares.

I know where to look. Then again, you recommended it to everyone, so I assume you think everyone knows where to look? The 6800 GS is overpriced, whether you know where to look or not.

I'd have to disagree with that. From experience. There are many games it doesn't come close to not being able to run even half aa/af and a decent resolution.

Actually, a 300 pounds alternative such as the 7800 GTX 256MB would wipe the floor with the 6800 GS so much that even someone who was not familiar with computers would be able to tell.

The games there r Quake4, Doom3 and HL2.

Hl2 is best for storyline, bit short.
Doom3 is just a bit boring imo.
Quake4 is a pretty good game its more fun than doom 3 but uses the doom3 engine.

Yeah I have HL2 =] played it through good storyline and not bad gameplay, but seriously looks a completely new game compared to my Graphics haha that's amazing, I need to upgrade everything badly -_- cheers yet again.

Res is low, not exactly highest spec, especially considering you're playing games on engines that are dated.

Pull out the 1600x1200 full AA/AF max detail benchmark for F.E.A.R.

Oh, and I can get those same screenshots with a 6600GT, doesn't mean it's good FPS.

Also, I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but there's graphics corruption or bad rendering in your screenshots.

Depends on how much you want to spend and whether you have AGP or PCI-E.

overclocked the card even more dispite its sold overclocked :P up to 420MHz and 1.1GHz which runs stable.

You might want to consider using different drivers or changing the CP from performance to quality.
