My pc will not run mir

Hey LOMCN,

Right i will get right to the point.

Yesterday i had my pc formated and all my drivers installed. But when i went to install mir 3 it crashed at last gate before entering gate. So i thought ok ill download java but still didn't work. So i thought i try LOCM 1.9 server and it wont let me get past the char select.. when i press start nothing happens.

I am wondering do i need a program to run mir?

got all m$ updates? you do need something, but i think it comes with m$ update.

just get all the updates. sp1, sp2 and you shld b fine.

Do you have the latest version of DirectX installed.

What was the message you got, when it tried to connect.

Did you get Mir.exe failure.

Can you provide a screen shot of the end result.

If your running a server, make sure SSDP Discovery Service is disabled.
