well, shall we clear a few things up? 1) there is no such cpu. 2) u physically cant have that much ram on a non-opteronb amd system 3) wow, u got a big hdd... in all my comps combined i got over 2 tb's of space... 4) 500mb shared video? u do realize that there is no such onboard video card that can utilize more than 128mb of system ram... not to mention a brand new video card is roughly 50x (?) better than any onboard crap. 5) 10gb connection... doesnt exist in private usage? a 45megabit (which is roughly 1777.7777 times worse than ur connection) costs about i think 25-100k a month in real money. 6) no such router exists..... not even top enterprise ones....

so, in short, ur joke isnt that funny. and my computer still kicks everyone elses ass :)

the difference between ur 3g and my 2.6 is negligable if anything the 3g is slower. the ram is running at CAS 2, which is fine, and the other timings do not offer a great deal in performance terms, and there at 215 which is maxed out for me.

but as ever mhz means nothing theres no question about it.

no, the difference between both my systems. my amd system will beat urs, and u do remember my intel i put as non oc'd, so it would be ur 2.6ghz vs my 3.6ghz intel, and thats with stock cooling.

as for ur mem timings, 2-2-2-11 @ 200 is better than anything at 215, just a performance tip.

For starters running my Ram at 200, vs my bus at 215 would only cause more harm than good so thats not exactly a great performance tip, and you say 2400 Mobile at a lesser clock, i wouldnt bet on that system, and again P4 3.6G aint that impressive, aswell it may do beat my 2.6G by a small margin but look, its 1G more, how shameful lol

ur mobile is 45mhz faster and mine has a higher fsb by 5mhz, not to mention my ram is at 440mhz. so i say my system is a lot faster. if u dont believe me, shall we run 3dmark2001 to see?

I'm happy with this box, and it only costed $300 in all to make last year:

AMD AthlonXP 2200+ 1.8GHz
512MB PC2100 DDR
200GB Hard Disk
128MB GeforceFX 5200 (cheap) Dual VGA out
1.5Mbps Internet over 100Mbit Network (maybe i should go gigabit? waste of cash honestly).

It plays most games fine, runs fine.. properly cooled (3 fans) it does a good job. I never did get into overclocking since, i dont have cash to buy a new board or processor.
