Hey guys and girls right heres a few probs i experienced with ms sql to start off to find a download link for ms sql 2000 u need to seach google for "SQLEVEL.exe" you should then find a download link.

SQL 2000 will not work with vista. you need sql expresss 2005. with 05 you will need to set the computers user to be an admin of this service usein the config in my prog files > SQL express 2005 If your on xp pro xp home ect 2000 should work if not try downloading a new data base and restore that if not then post up a screen shot as it will help peeps understand your problem if they can see it in front of them. Hope you guys get your probs sorted as sql is a pain in the u not what when if it doesnt go your way!!

I was thinking by the title why would you be using MySQL but obviously its a mistake ^.^

I know why you get that error, well this is how i fixed a mates.
Delete the database totally... then make a new one (can use same name).
If this doesnt work then its a different problem obviously but this sorted it for my mate.

SQL 2000 will NOT restore the Database that comes with Jaspers release , you need to properly install SQL 2005 for it to work without problems ...

Again - SQL 2005 Dev :

For Torrent Program >>>
www.utorrent.com
For SQL 2005 >>>
http://isohunt.com/download/13220411/sql+2005
To Mount a CD/DVD Image >>>
www.daemon-tools.cc
For ISS Enable >>>
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Progs > Optional Comps > *tick* ISS

Dont forget to install SQL Management Studio when you install SQL ...
