Its because you use Firefox, and firefox doesn't support Microsoft non-standard properitary extensions such as glows.
Switch to a real browser like Maxthon and get good support+security everywhere ^^

cos you use firefox (yay) probably, and it doesn't have the activex required for the glows that IE does.
Its no big loss really, altho it does mean you cant quite tell what position of power someone is in (for your reference, i am "leet" and godlike and adminy and stuff)
if you really must see them, use IE, else just dont worry about it
(One day i do hope to set it up so that FF users see more than just white)
