It may be 5 minutes, but it's still 5 minutes caused only because some kids thought they had to prove something
I remember something like this few years ago with coke machines, people used to say if you type in a certain code you get to the engineers menu and can do things like check how much money was in there, not very useful really.
Not quite the same but whilst in uni we had these ATMs that were mobile ones. E.g. they dialed the net when you took cash out. I once pulled the front off one in a drunken state (leaning on it haha) and inside there was a floppy disk, i removed it and examined with a hex editor the next day. It contained card numbers and names along with each transaction made. I could have used these for fraud but I didn't. I really don't think you can take cash out of holes in walls using the engineer menu (as this disk allowed me to do in mobile atms) but it could give u card numbers like i recieved.

oh the whole coke machine scandal, yes on osme machine u can get into enigneers menu, and some people it is useless, it tells you the stock of machine, how mch money, what degree it is at, ect, ect.. but puting in another comba(think it was 4122) at the engierers menu, you can get into price setting.. so vertually u cant get the coke for free, you can set cans/bottles at 5c...
was a machine in one of the shopping malls in town, that this worked on(most machines this dosent work with) when ever i was near, i used to get a bottle of coke for 5c.. always change price back tho, didnt do it that much however, cause it was on one siade of town, im on the other...
its intresting i say how they did it.. and tbh they are proving a point, that ATM machines are in fact to easy to scam, and break... if you really want to. there are houndred of cases in ireland with amchines stealing cards/pins ect... banks need to work on there sectruity.
I find a Kansas city shuffle followed by a punch to the head works much more effectively on students at ATM machines lol joke.
at college we had a big glass vending machine and on the middle line of the vendor you could press hard on the glass and the can wouldn't drop so you could get your money back or just repeat the process over and over again.

LOL the coke machine hack does work, i tried at my old sixth form and you can adjust prices and maybe empty the change (i'm not 100% sure on that one)...it has to be a real Coca Cola machine though
as far as the ATM machines go...i dont use Natwest, and i rarely ever use ATM machines usually because my town is full of chavs and jippos that would take the money straight off you anyway if they saw you taking money out..and there's been a lot of "fake front" things on the ATMs round here....but they've proved their point (if indeed it is true) now they can go find other pointless things to mess around with.
