Right, for many months i have been looking around for the answer to hosting a server around/through a router, i have seen many ways of explaining what to do, and have read them all....however, they all seem to be in slang, many spelling mistakes, bad grammar, or just not explained very well, or are too technical for me.
If someone can type, or put together a little guide, where i can get the stuff i need to download, the stuff i need to setup, all in simple terms. How to set up router DMZ and what it is etc.
Also where to place IPs, whether they are network or whatever, in my actually server folder, would be helpful as well.
I am on BT, 576k, i am networked with 5 other PCs.
Bascially what im asking for is an idiots guide to everything to do with a router, as im very unfamiliar with them. I swear whoever helps me to get this damn thing working will not be forgotten and rewarded as i've had enough of stuff not working for me!
