Need Help With M2 starting up (something to do with mapfiles)

running on windows XP

everything goes well till M2 Starts up and then i get this msg

ready to load ini file..
!setup.txt loaded..
loading client version information..
Ok.
loading StdItem.DB...
StdItem.DB loaded.
loading MiniMap.txt...
MiniMap information loaded.
loading MapFiles...
Not ready 127.0.0.1


also a lil box comes up with funny writing at the end says code=1

anyone got any ideas?

you have a map in your mapinfo that aint in your map file. or your just pointing the mapdir in the wrong direction.

here is a map info( i hope this is proper one as i have a few) just take out the 1 in the name and put it in

Defualt: C:\mirserver\Mir200\Envir\

used ur map tox and its still the same msg i got me files from Fernys.co.uk all are folllowing the coorect to start =/

nope just a lil box says some funky symbol writing then at the end says code=-1

i got maps in the
mirserver\mir200\map they the MAP files

and the other is

mirserver\mir200\Envir\MapInfo which is the text doc one

The problem is you are missing maps and unless you im[port your own maps from you Lergendofmir directory into the folder c:\mirserver\mir200\map

You will keep getting this problem.

GO to yiou legend of mir directory (the one you run the game from) and import the maps from there to the folder c:\mirserver\mir200\map

That will solve youre problem

i had this problem a while back, wot i found was that i hadnt set one of the .ini files up proberly, my advice wud be to check these first as it could be them

code=1, is also the code i got, and the problem was cos the ini's werent set up probably, all i said was check, u never no cod be, cud not be, btw ne1 no wot ghoul caves .txt files name is? and where it is located?

code=-1 means that the DB have a double entry of some sort or the index numbers are out of order or that the inis are wrong and i told him so he didnt waste time doing it so please avoid confrontation im only trying to help
