need help with sql

hi just installed vista and i useing sql 2000 but for some reason it not leting me connect to the sql server manger so i can not open my db :S can any one help please

maybe set the server up incorrect, try uninstall and install again, follow a guide and u wont get it wrong

dont need an guide i can set sql easy but for some reason it not working on vista :S

i have just redownloaded it and reinstalled it and i still getting the same ne one help me plz

simply use sql 05. Vista is not worth useing for a server anyway as vista eats half of your ram running alone.

lolz u tit gonna downgrade to xp pro just to run a mir server? why not just use an old pc as a server
