Edit: I wouldn't recommend that 4550, its overpriced for the power, and secondly, it won't be able to play COD: WAW at a decent res/good settings.

9800 gt amp edition (zotac) is pretty good plays crysis and everything else on high for me.

So your basing these claims of the XFX 8600 GT being faster than the 9600 GT from your own tests?, and not benchmark tests found elsewhere?

Please enlighten me, what is the ''difference'' between a 8600 GT and an XFX 8600 GT as from the 10+ benches i've seen, the 9600GT destroys it.

The XFX runs at the same bit rate as the 9600GT, which is 256 not 128. Where as the standard 8600GT doesn't, that runs at a bit rate of 128.

The only down fall compared to the 9600GT is the GPU and DDR

Then you don't know what you are doing. If this 8600 GT was really better than a 9600GT, im sure you'd find plently reviews on the Internet, and everyone would know. Your doing something wrong.

Your lucky if you find any reviews for the XFX, as most tend to ether use PNY Nvidia cards as these are the cheapest on the market.

And you really don't know a lot about Graphic cards do you, apart from what you have read.

You don't know what your doing. Proof or it didn't happen. Oh, and im still curious to know the model name of your £100 Phenom which you claim to have a stock clock of 3GHz, as the only Phenom with a stock clock of 3GHz is the newer PHII 940. Oh no wait, you said 12GHz didn't you? LOL.
