New archer skill ideas

I'm thinking archer needs a higher lvl skill (aswell as other classes) i think lvl 50+ skills would give the high lvls more to aim for.

Anyway i was thinking of these for archer just cause i think it would be cool lol

1.Arrowslash/bowslash big cooldown similar to half-moon you use your bow or an arrow to devastating effect as a last resort to avoid being over run and provide an escape.

2. DeathFromAbove The archer shoots many arrows into the sky that rain down on enemies ( i think this would be good if you could make it use lots of arrows each time)

There are a few new Archer skills being worked on at the moment, they are currently being tested for bugs and tweaked.

Suggestions are always good though and I like the idea of DFA - would it be a high damage - Blizz/Met style thing? Or would it be low damage but high flinch/slow as an escape/crowd control spell?

I've never actually liked the RainofArrows style skills. They just make so little sense, often supported by shooting 1 arrow into the sky and then 500 fall Or calling on your archer crew that happen to be within range inside a house to shoot a volley your way.

I do think archers could use a little extra aoe for PVE situations. something like explosive shot - single target 100% damage explodes to 8 adjacent spaces for 50% damage.

Initial Skill Damage - 10% less than Fire Shot (so does not replace single target dps)
Splash Damage 50% (does not replace static)
AOE - 3x3 (smaller and less effective than FF, no bounce ability like static)
Must hit target to explode so cannot use like Icestorm to gain a flinch.
Supported by Rapid fire unlike static shock.


Idea - Give archer a slight PvE boost in certain scenarios without effecting pvp by much at all (might gain a few extra flinches from aiming at mobs close to a running target but doing less damage than fireshot to the initial target its unlikley to be the skill of choice.

It should be a lower damage spell because of lower accuracy from shooting in the sky...however it must do reasonable damage to justify the arrows. Also you could mess with the cast time if thats possible to load said arrows.
