I'd recommend 306's, been driving mine (306 1.4 LX) a year and a half and not had to spend much on it at all, needed the back brakes doing once and on my MOT they said the emissions needed adjusting and charged me £10. I do high mileage, when I'm in uni (5 days a week except sometimes share a lift with a friend) I'm doing at least 60 miles a day, so I don't think it's been bad.
For information it's an old one, M reg and is now on 92,000 miles, still seems to be running ok.

Yeh i hear they can be expensive specially when they need new parts etc.

Still, id have one.

Not expensive at all. parts are easy to get... i know as i have a ZR.

Insurance isnt too bad to be honest "for what they are".

Also £4500 for a decent one on a 2003 plate isnt bad... at all.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Saxo's done up are aweful, the standard VTR/S bodykit is the way to go, get some smoked front lights and stay away from lexarse lights because they are too common and look ****e.

Im gunna look into buying one in a few months, proberly keep my saxo as a track car.
