Seems a tad hard for the below 45 players tbh. RC exp is similar and RC mobs do less damage. Not seeing the benefit here.

Thoughts??

Also you said before that threads drop from the corresponding mobs e.g. White marr would drop white thread.
Not seen any threads drop from any of the mobs yet.

Hard at 47 too lol. The mobs in the cave have quite high AMC, quite a few of my FW's end up being blocked. I think as it is right now, the levelling area is only good for low levels staying in province taking it slowly, or taos poison clouding.

As a 45+ wiz, if you're not FFing mobs then you're killing a lot slower than you should be, our other spells just don't hurt nearly as much. Warriors can't tank there either, so they kill a couple at a time slower than sins, and sins are better off killing 1 at a time in yims.

With a few tweaks, this area could be great, the mechanics are really good.

Spent an hour or so in here,

Initial thoughts, using CHM charms and rage charms, the mobs die quite good, but they deal a tone of damage. As a melee outside you struggle to tank more than 4 mobs without using any sunpots. Without charms tanking 4+ mobs u will die before they do if you don't have sunpots.

Not ventured inside too long but the mobs deal more damage so hurts tanking more than 2-3.

Using a similar setup it is much better exp in BDD and dont use as many pots and make better gold.

I think tone the damage down a bit and you have a really good cave to mix it up with BDD. I think currently this map/cave is really good for taos, poison cloud and running, but the remaining classes struggle due to needing mobs within ff/melee range and u cant tank enough to make the exp rival BDD. To make this rival/better than BDD needs about 3k more exp a mob and a little less damage. Then it should give better exp than BDD, but less gold returns than BDD does.

The mechanic is excellent, and not too bad when pk arrives as u can rt away and carry on lvling, not losing exp having half killed mobs. Will make those that are getting pkd in BDD safer here and not feel they are loosing out on levelling by having to rt away.

Agreed,

Very slow exp. Not sure what the drops are like, too early to tell. Slashing burst from sub is really nice tho :).

Best give it a while before judging, the drops could be really nice! ATM though yims seems loads better.

In the time 90% of the server were hunting the new map, 3 bosses killed, maybe 20+ subs, and just one decent item - meanwhile 3 charms dropped in red cave! Probably best staying there ha.

Loving the new map/cave, but deffo seems to favour the poison cloud and RT thing a bit too much.

Damn they hit like freight trains too ha ha, must have died more times in the last couple of hours that my first week >_<

Prov mobs are perfect maybe a few more spawning as its rammed with 40-45 players there, damage needs downing a bit like you said jamie this is for 30-40 players at prov and they would get destroyed how it currently stands even taking 1 at a time, they can hit me for 80s through my shield. The cave is ****ed lol me and omi worked out its faster exp in RC, better drops and hurts less.

As he forgot again, I'd just like to say thank you for spotting this mistake.

Damage needs lowering a tad on all the mobs but except for that it's pretty decent.

Jamie.

At the moment Wizzards and Taos can kill the mobs en mass.

They can farm exp in there stupidly quick.

Warriors (me for example) can tank around 3-4 mobs at once. unless SB proc's then it takes for ever to kill them.
I use soo many pots too.

Its simply unfair.

The cave is also crazy dmg wise.

I will most likely be adjusting some of the stats, I am thinking of keeping their damage as is, but reducing that HP.

Most of the feedback on here so far has said its pretty good except for the dmg they do, yet you want to leave damage and change other stats?

Do you take any feedback seriously or just have tunnel vision with how you want it to be?

Ahh LM... :D Whilst that tone is probably not gonna get you anywhere with him, I do think you've a valid point. Also seems an adjustment that further favours the ranged.

True. Also idk about SB...for example if u SB a mob, do u take the full exp from it or just a minor portion?

^^ reduced HP would be great in the field for us Wizzies and Taoists, not sure how that will fare for Assassins and Warriors though.
ATM my friend playing a Taoist can just rack up massive poison stacks across as many as he wants, RT and still get the ticks for the next 35+ seconds (he was level 26 when he started killing them, hes now 31).
I'm a wizard so well, enough said really. F-Wall, walk them through it and hope that it doesn't spam "Block" :lol
However my brother who's a level 28 Assassin dies in two or three hits, up to four hits if in full AC/MAC kit and this majorly hampers his ability to be able to level off them. Can't comment on Warriors though, I would imagine its similar except can survive more hits.

Any tweaks that might help level the playing field somewhat? As it stands its somewhat easy for the fastest levelling class (Wizard).

Playing all 4 classes

Problem:
Sin/warr is left behind on this particular patch due to AOE/Dot

Solution:
Dps cave needs the xp doubling I guess

---------- Post Merged at 01:29 PM ---------- Previous Post was at 01:28 PM ----------

Can so 4-5x the xp on tao/wiz compared to melee

Wiz = bdd /new province /yims
Tao = bdd/new prov/ yims
War=bdd /red cave/ yims

Sin= yims 2f

Ofc these change in groups but realistically you shouldn't have to 'leech to lvl.
