New Computer Problems

Hey guys, I've recently had a new PC which is using Vista. They only problem is when I am typing things in the internet search or in MSN, it tends too delete the text and close the internet page/msn convo. Why does this happen?

...Like you type something and then you see it disappear and then the window closes? Run all Windows Updates and...I have no idea really.
