reading of the new content, i hope regarding weapons you are going the way of keeping the latest weapons up, kinda like Blade and Soul, where you just keep upgrading your existing weapon.

The idea now should not be to throw in another new set of better weapons. Instead, keep the current weapons and build on it. (with master refine, maybe some sort of awakening etc.)

it would be really frustrating to waste billions of guild on a wep to upgrade it, only to have 2 month later a much better base weapon. What do you guys think about the idea and can you confirm sticking with it?

Completely agree. Weapons should not be introduced but built upon.

I spend 1b, I know it isn’t much considering how much other people spend but I would hate to start again

Disagree. What's the point of introducing new weps if the old ones are supposed to be better? I applaud people for spending 1b on wep but I dont see china or many other players whining. Many players spent billions on mr'ing their edge/spirit weps only to be swept under the rug by new elites with cube refining multiple times etc.

Progression should never cease.

The point is, the game doesnt need MORE new weapons... if you read my post the suggestion is to build on the latest weapons instead of throwing new stuff in every couple months. If anything only different kind of weapons or sets. (so you could basically have a EXP farm set, drop hunt set, DPS set, etc. to be able to alter for different situations.

Progression doesnt cease, there just needs to be an intelligent way to progress. Not as stupid as in WOW... where you farm your gear for month and month. Finish the hardest raids just so you can throw your whole kit away for a common item after the new expansion... thats just retarded and makes no sense. And surely noone spend 1b on edge weapons...

It’s server progression, new weapons should have better base stats than a half refined/sup refined previous weapon but not better stats than a full refined/sup refined previous weapon. If you get me :)

People are already hitting 2k per hit, taos are hitting 600-800 now imagine with new weapons when it’s refined

If it needs adding around 10- 20points should be increased but even then they will still do crazy damage.

The only other solution is reduce damage of spells which essentials will affect low level players and there’s no point introducing a new wep if your pretty much doing the same thing


It’s a hard one but I see amnesia point of view where it should remain the same. Would be nice if you could add some stats on rings/bracelets too

I’m sure with damage progression there will also be defence progression. IE damage reductions like emblems etc.

Defence is extremely high as of now, taos with their cele light shield and 5k+ health, including new hp pots/comfort, warriors/assassins with their comfort/pots/lifesteal

it’s already boring when someone can literally take damages and keep on running without dying.

If anything pvp group fights should be reduced nowadays some battles can last for 5-10 mins assuming there’s enough taos to res the fallen either is spamming the same button over is any exciting.

Every class should have their own special abilities which has cool downs (30 secs) but does crazy damage, this will make fighting far more interesting instead of its current pace when its tempesting constantly, taos purifing, assassins cloaking and trying to get to other side.

The main issue I see with new content is that the server is already at a point where new items or even allowing people to continue to upgrade there weapons endlessly won't make a bit of difference because the balance is well and truly messed up for pvp. what should have been done is a much slower progression of stats on gear and the lack of stats made up with PVE damage instead. They should also have kept Assassins and Warriors gear apart making assassins Agility based and Warrior AC/MR for defence. Regardless the current balance of the game is completely messed up.


Ran into ChinaNo1 today he hit me twice with 2,7k crits with ms and the 3rd shot got me. So bare in mind I have x3 fire advantage and 6.5k hp with comfort 20 and life pill 4s. But what good is any of this if melee cannot survive long enough to get into range to fight back or cause the castors to back up.

Also bare in mind Chinano1 has yet to put Stun, or Silence on his weapon when he max's that out and other castors see how it utterly breaks pvp beyond repair every castor is going to max that out first and all the melee will become about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.


I tried to explain this to the server team a few times as have others, but with idiots who don't want there class receiving some sort of Nerf to balance them out constantly saying they are fine and asking for buffs the team refuse to do anything. Hopefully when these special refines break the game balance more they will stop ignoring people trying to help balance things out and do something about it.

Until then I have been playing my wizard who is 77 and has been dropping higher levels since they were 75. Even took out chinano1 a few times when he was 80. Other than cashing on my Assassin and maybe a DC/TWL don't see the point in playing a melee class other than bosses there pretty much useless compared to a castor.

If you want more proof of PVP being broken look at Filthy Casuals guild with maybe what 1-5 active melee and about 2-3 dozen castors. These guys are hard core pvp/pk guild and don't get me wrong there good at it but there's also a big reason why the majority of them are castors. Don't think I need to spell the reason out to you guys though.

But I know what I would do if I ran my own server

- lots of exp to satisfy leveling itself

- hard to find drops to keep you coming back for more - no OP stats, blue items can drop but less often, and when they do it's really a luck in or luck out situation .

- Not a fan of gold / exp stats on items, I think this is very messy and impossible to balance

- PVE and PVP player drop items on death.

- No gameshop, Pay2win killed the old school subscription mmo!

- No item parts, not a fan of this system.

- Item Stack limits.

Well if we are talking about something new it would be nice to have 2 sets of items at the same time. Now you can only have 1 cause of items needed for a set. Neck ring brace or 2 brace . Maybe some change about seconda set not being 2 braces but a ring and brace so you can have 2 sets on you. Its only my thoughts dont thrash talk me now;)

As with any item it's only good untill you get access to new/higher gear. Refined items should only be a stop gap to upgrade kit untill new content is released imo and it's already been capped to maintain that ideology. Well it's not capped but getti g over 3-4% on anything worthwhile will be the most realistically possible

New items do however need crit reduction and other new defensive minded stats and for sure would be better for pvp if warrior and sins sets were seperate. This would reinforce class roles imo

okay, the suggestion was not to add new weapons with worse stats than the old weapons... that obviously makes no sense. The suggestion is to add NO MORE new weapons for now. There is enough other mechanics and methods to upgrade your gear without having add new content every 3 weeks... where is this gonna end? Just look at other games... Black Desert, Guild Wars etc. Where you have different kind of kits for different kinds of situations.

And again.. for weapons are enough ways to upgrade them and boost them or even change the looks of it... but no more new weapons should be added IMO.

And yeah... you got 3 hit by ms... and that was even without tempest on your ass lol.. so much for melees in pvp... thats why im also frustrated and bored of the server atm.
