I understand why the body weight of the Assassin has been altered to prevent them from wearing skel helms and black iron helms early-mid game to help keep their defense down, and I completely agree with the reasoning. An assassin wearing a black iron helmet doesn't make sense. However, it just feels like the sin has been ignored and/or the game is incomplete when I have an empty helmet slot at around level 33-40. Also they will be able to wear these high defense helmets at higher level.
Could you not introduce Assassin-specific helmets like mir3 has and make the current helmets specific to war/wiz/tao? It makes much more sense for an assassin to be wearing a head band and/or those korean-style skull masks, etc (a blind-fold and eye patch are even an option too - like WoW); And ofc you can place a small amount of DC on them but low defensive stats. If you're worried about giving the sin too much DC for each DC you add to a helmet take 1 off a weapon or armour.
Mir 3 had some really nice looking helms for Assassins, I'm sure you've seen them. This is the only 1 I could find:
OFC the Archer could undergo the same changes.
