[New Map] No Name!

Alright peeps, got bored recently n decided to make a map, only partially the way through though... So if anyone has any ideas, then that would be good

It's quite big for a town map unless there would be a use for all that space..hidden npcs? find item event?

The town is no larger than Bichon, infact...considerable smaller. Thanks for the feedback though, i have a feeling that my next map will be alot more inscale and i got better way of doing town details n such, i was just experimenting with a BW border effect (Instead with grass/trees n such).

no idea what im going to use this map for, Maybe a nice starting town (putting deers n hens in the green moat thing). Anyways i'l release when finished n i'l be doing alot more soon, so requests / ideas are welcome. Please don't go asking for maps over 600:600 , that is my limit, i tried a 999:999 and had nightmares for months lol.

it's a big map, and the town area seems quite small for the size of the map?

I was going to add less constructive towns by the bottom right corner , a few few odd house's ere n there (could be used for quests)

Just out of interest, i was going to make a standard map and build a town map (leave the rest for other people to add own caves etc). So basically just centre a nice sized town in the middle of a fairly sized map n leave the rest blank.

for instance a 400:400 map, i could place a palace or building (or statue, w.e) at 200:200 and build about 100:100 outwards using city walls, that would then leave me with a perfectly sized town. i've learnt that tile detailing a town roughly makes it easier to place buildings n such (this wasn't the case with this one! lol)

I made a fairly well sized town border if anyone wants to use and add detail to it (Cliff, map edges, town detail etc)

Nice looking map Breezer! You got any tips for the cliffs? When ever I try todo cliffs they look naff lol.
