k this is a little long winded but here goes... you need mir server editor from the apprentice's web site select the mob you want to add sound to, then click on the sound tab then that will open a sub window which will tell you what the first sound entry for that mob should be, on my server bonecaptain is 950 the list goes as follows
950 apper
951 closeby
952 attack
953 Special
954 hit
955 killed
the apper only seems to be used for skelle and shinsu
Now to add the sound (and this is the boring bit) you need to listen to the sounds in your wav folder and diside which sound you want to use for what, then open the soundlist file in your Wav folder with word pad then add the entry for bonecaptain which will look something like this
940: wav\940-0.wav
941: wav\940-1.wav
942: wav\940-2.wav
943: wav\940-3.wav
944: wav\940-4.wav
945: wav\940-5.wav
950:
951: wav\2120-1.wav
952: wav\2120-2.wav this is the bit you need to add
953: wav\2120-3.wav and it must be in numerical order
954: wav\2120-4.wav or the mob sounds wont work
955: wav\2120-5.wav
960:
961: wav\2140-1.wav
962: wav\2130-2.wav
963: wav\2140-3.wav
964: wav\2130-4.wav
965: wav\2130-5.wav
and that is that all i did was use the sound files from Mir 1.7 and they work a treat
