New player from Euro

Hi guys,

I'm sure there has been many of these posts before but thought I'd say Hello and see how the community is. I havnt played Mir since Euro shut down those many moons ago and really wanted to get back into it. I was wondering what it's like compared to Euro and any advice for new players, or any tips for levelling on here.

Welcome to the mad house

Server is like euro but different, a good way to find your way around if it has been a while is to do and follow the quest line, it will guide you through the caves and places for your level

Very similar to Euro with a lot of old faces from there, been on here for almost a year now with very few complaints.

Might be worth joining one of the 'start-up' guilds (BlackWidows/Dunedain/WinterItsComing) to begin with unless you've got friends in one of the larger guilds (Forsaken/Team/TKO) to take your ass lvling.

Just my two cents like.

Just searched on google and this was one of the first that came up, seemed pretty decent so thought I'd give it ago. Seems good so far :encouragement:

Do I need to do the quests to get gold and cash or do mobs drop?

Be better doing the quests at the start to build up some gold and also get your mount/horse

On that note, have you guys got an advertising/marketing plan in place for the server? Some fresh blood would be good now that Chronicles is relatively established.

I think I just searched 'Legend of Mir' and it was the 3rd or 4th link down. There was a few servers on there which I know I didn't want to play, and I recognised the LOMCN forum from back in the day.

OmaLair is a good source of gold for level 25-30 + depending on your class.

Can be found bottom left of Castle GiRyoong in a dodgy gap between the cliffs.
