Hi all,

Used to play mir servers back in the day and just by chance went on youtube and was watching some old videos and came across the name of this server as i thought all the servers were dead now but obviously not, this looks really good.

Really missed this game, can anyone let me know what the community is like, do people still hunt in guilds/groups etc?

Defo gonna give it ago anyway, will be on later tonight if any other new players wants to hunt

The community is for the most part fine. A couple of douchebags, easily resolved by adding to ignore (on here, no such thing in-game).

Join a friendly guild (was in Dunedain and I think very highly of them). 1-33 can be a bit of a grind, but it depends on your class. Higher bosses are mostly done in groups because PKing is not at all discouraged. If you go solo during prime time you have a very high chance of getting your ass whooped.

Wizzies are a bit underpowered, taos are still hard to level solo.

Rest is Mir by the numbers. Holler if you want any pointers mate.

Community is usually decent, forum community not so much.

Levelling is peaceful (until you make your own enemies)
Boss hunting is quiet for lower end, but need to fight for top end ones
Player Count 200+ peak times
Mining is best money maker (Plat Ore Q12+ and BIO (Higher puri the better))
Decent amount of quests (use bounty boards to get where you should be levelling, take the quests too!)

Archers and Sins have strongest early levelling
Warriors develop after 32
Wizzies are being looked into to improve pet situation
Taoists hard to level solo but strong later on

From my own experience hotmail dont get them at all. i wait a long time but nothing came through at all.
i used an alternative then and it came through instantly.

Ill pm you later in game, see if your suitably minded for our guild at least for the best part of early game for support and company.

Just like to point out there is a feature to ignore/block peoples messages in game, all you need do is add them to your enemy's list.

Ha! Thanks. Fortunately I haven't had to use it yet, they seem contained to the forums.

At moment these seem to be strongest class but I wouldn't count on it staying that way. Things get changed around a lot.
Its easy to level up so you can try different classes.
Do the quests. At least on Mizu you get a horse yr first skill and first weapon from quests. Do them anyway after that for some kit and cash but not necessarily when you first get them.
My email was Hotmail and activate was in junk folder.
The enemy ignore thing is a tab on the friend list press "W"
Is that really gonna be your name? Looks very like bots that cause a lot of irritation

The flavour of the month on MMO's is always in a constant battle, Take for example sins at the start of the server, or warriors for that matter.

I would suggest you find a play style that suits you and that you enjoy, rather than rolling the current flavour of the month and getting annoyed when its over-throne.

This server is epic. It's an online community you're bound to find dbags. But if you get in a good guild you can make friends for life.
