New to Chronicles..

Just started playing Chronicles a few days ago, I like it a lot so far i'm not in a guild yet so havn't had a chance to ask many questions. What's the best place to cash hunt? I go for the subs in the town maps..tried Ant cave and a few others, what do you do to get enough gold to level up? I'm a lvl 33 wizz, where are the best places to kill mobs for my level?

I'm an ex Mir3 player Mir2 is different obviously but still similar, the Wizard skills are similar too but what are the best PvP skills to use? What are best Wizz skills later? Is there anthing like the Meteor Shower skill on Mir3?

Are you following the quest line
It does help for gold and items and also the repeatable quests

I did for a little while then got hooked on lvling up, I guess I could go back to doing that if it helps thanks

Follow the quests as BH has mentioned, alternatively Oma Lair is good for cash and decent for lvling at a low level, it's in castle gi. Lightning is probably the best wizz spell for pvp damage wise til higher level. Then FF/met strike/blizz are end game spells, capable of wiping out whole groups particularly with magic booster, and imo are a little OP now that every tom dick and harry has them.

Solo level - numa province, firewall + lightning
2x wiz - pranja temple (minos) tstorming mass lures 3rd floor has good density foor this.
Cash, oma lair (bottom left of giryong map) or stonetomb second with pets.

Sounds good i'll see what it's like. There's some maps I havn't even been in yet. With the quests I didn't really take them that seriously assuming they would be rubbish like the quests on Mir3 I don't want to miss out now The skills sound good, really like playing Wizz so far here, I usually go Tao on Mir but it gets boring, happy i tried it. Are there some skill books that can't be bought in the book shop? or is that why every tom dick and harry has them now lol.

40+ spells are not in shops.
For a wiz you will need to buy/find FF, Blizz, met, magic booster. All the sprlls that make a wiz good. 0-40 is fast. 40onwards slows down a lot.
From 41/42 you can start TUin in the ghoul room for great exp.

Thanks for the info it really helps i'm looking forward to the later levels, sure it's even more fun then. Are the wars fun here? I notice pvp going on quite a lot, I think pvp keeps the server interesting and it seems pretty balanced between pvp players and pve players but maybe in later levels i'll see more going on.

Fire Minos in PT can drop FF I found it in there however it is very very rare but it a great spell for level 42+ The experience is also good in there for a lower level if you can handle it. Hope that helps a bit

The best money makes are the repeatable quests from the notice boards in towns Bug Cave, ST and psc really how most ppl made gold at first. The quest line means u can find the caves that suit yr style of play as well as get rewards of gold and exp and items that are better than those that drop.
While mush of this mir is the same as others there are a lot of changes so dont make assumptions that its the same as other mirs until you have tried the maps or the quests yrself.
Did you get a horse from the early quests?

just do the quests untill you an solo oma lair easily, decent money, then just hunt sub bosses etc. money on here is easy to get. I hardly try an made 20m at the weekend..

wish i could put the effort into it, just feels boring atm

Thanks all who replied, was too busy lvling didn't realise anyone posted. I think the exp rate is fast so far I was 33 yesterday now 36, it's fast enough to stay interested without getting bored.

I did start the quest chain off at the very start and got the horse but stopped at the ones for wooma temple. :P I will take your advice though as don't want to miss out on xp or anything from quests.
