Find a group to play with, Taos really struggle solo as pets are very weak, eventually though you will be required because buffs are very strong.

Weak?
Taoist Pets (Lv 3 Shinsu and Lv 3 Deva), Buffed (AC/MAC/UE/Heal) can kill pretty much every leveling mob on their own without any assistance (No poisons or any other attack from a taoist), (PB Omas, Yims, BDD mobs, Foxs).. they only struggle at red cave.

Either work on the crafted level 1 set so you can solo with ease or find yourself a nice group/guild.

Not necessarily lol, they attack very slow. Shinsu really. Their attack speed is like a hit every 1.5 seconds. SFB Mana cost is pretty high. Making Pot money required to do long hunts by yourself as a tao. Until lvl 43 taos are very group dependent. Unless it's just my buffs, mobs have some high DC and smash Shinsu lvl 3-7

So to make sure I'm not going mad I just set my buffed level 3 pets onto a sword oma they died, it didnt. ( thats with level 3 deva which you need to be level 43 for.
Yims they got an elite guardian to nearly half health before they were both dead
Tao pets are weak its a fair comment, lets not go onto skeleton at any level.
Please note I misread heal and just buffed, if you do heal then they can kill a YIMs but it takes well over 1:25 seconds to do the job.

Level 3 Shinsu and Level 3 Deva: Absolutely destroy PB mobs, (with both pets NEXT to the mob so it does nothing but attack.

Tao pets are as they always have been tanky but weak Taos don't level solo it's simple as that there's no speed to it lol , maybe when you got PC you can I dunno , but get a warrior or sin your levelling speed will triple , plenty about.

Level 7 shinsu is @ level 40... kinda deep into the levellng. considering PB opens at 33, at which point you have a level 7 skeleton and lvl 1 UE and **** gear lol lemme know how that one ends.
level 3 shinsu and Deva takes 1:25 seconds to kill an elite guardian this is with +12 UE 8 mac 8 AC you also need to be 43 to have the deva
at which point you have poison cloud and they are totally redundant.
my advice was genuine, tao pets are completely tragic for levelling, by the time they are remotely useful they are redundant by Poison cloud ( Level 7 shin can tank well in PT Kr) but wheres the damage? again you also need to be lvl 40 to have it.

It seems a lvl 40 cannot do this without both pets dying, I am assuming you poisoned the mob as well. I guess there's a huge gap between pet differences in 40-43. Because my pets don't come close to halving a yims mob without me assisting with SFB before having to resummoning Shinsu. Keep in mind I don't have like 12 buffs on my tao as Jamie does.
Update: I just attempted this test and now my pets can solo a yims mob lol, They couldn't yesterday without my help which is weird. I guess it's just bad luck.. My bad

My pets could never come close to soloing PB mobs at level 41 , let alone elite guardians. Have they been ninja improved ?

yet sfb hits harder on here than any other server?+ the fact taos pets are stronger here than any other server? don't let me get started on poisoncloud...
The fact that taos currently **** on warriors leveling speed you think you have any ground to complain?

Welcome to the server bud,
if if I was you I'd di the following.
run around gathering crafting materials to make your 1st set. In my eyes this Taos have the best set kit currently.
Go to the different areas to get the different parts once you get to lvl 22 head straight to PT.
Once you get to lvl 33 you can put the purity set on the other 2 slots for the extra holy.
Basicly you wanna work ya way into KR it's the fastest way possible and your new home till 43.

That is completely irrelevant lol, as was said before in the previous posts. Taos are absolutely horrendous till 43, unless you have personal connections with melee or wiz class.

honestly wasting your time, Jamie considers Taos to be the strongest class on server.

Thanks for some constructive help Guilt, an it seems to look by the consensus that Taoists are pretty shite until Lv43 then lol.

There are v few ppl tht actually know to play tao...so u have that. In my eyes a tao here vs any other class (roughly same lvl and kit) in an open space will win (not necessarily kill the other player, but make him tt/rt after u slowly burn his suns). The worst thing for a tao from what I've seen is to lvl their skills, but once most skills are lvl 3, u will be gd. Also on here u can actually use 2 bracers as ammy will work from bag, not like any other mir2 I've played. Gj on that Jamie :P
Also taos are not **** untill 43, just tht after 43 u can lvl solo.
And ofc PC will be in handy for pk, pvp too.
