Hi Peeps,

I've decided to give this server another crack since the recent patch. I did play the day of launch but got very frustrated at how far behind I fell because I didn't donate. Started a sin at lvl 7 and could barely survive killing omas and yetis whereas everyone else had bought all the buffs.. anyways...

I started a wiz yesterday and the low levels seem much more bearable now. Currently lvl 21 wiz and killing in fleas for exp/gold. I've bought a few nooby fire+ items so am doing ok and will have fwall soon.

Any tips on how long I should stay in Flea?

Where should I go next?

I know there is a pig you can buy for 500k to pick stuff up for you - how much gold do I have to spend on it before it starts giving me stats?

As I'm a mir 2 player I'm used to going for the highest MC possible but I notice that a lot of wizzies are going element instead of MC. I see a high level wiz has stacked MC and has adv renounce. He's killing nicely in Departed Valley 3rd, but I assume I'm a thousand hours off and 100's of mill away from that yet!

Would I be stupid to stack MC at this point?

Would appreciate any tips.

Probably best to try find some decent Fire+ items at first, get rings, braces and necky to fire+2 each.

You can stay in Fleas for EXP and gold, plus it's easy there at low level - No ranged attacks and big open areas.
Mines is decent, if you stay on the first floor you may find some BIO (If ore drops from mob, you can sell). P30+ Bio will fetch anything from 200k-400k each.

I don't know much else to advise as my wiz is only level29, I'm now starting to stack Ice so i can hunt PT and Phantom Forest.

Once I got scorched earth I did the ghouls in south banya valley, stayed there for quite a while until I got frozen earth then went to minos, which at first can be a little difficult. Better once you have greater frozen earth for sure.

After GFE, I stayed in minos until Meteor Shower, then I alternated minos and west desert.

Thanks bud, any tips on pets? I'm nearing the 500k for the pig but I'm happy picking up my own drops atm so might hold off - unless it levels while I kill mobs??

It levels over time as long as it's hunger isn't at 0. Even in SZ.

Pets are potentially the biggest buff you can have. Should mention that the first one to lvl 10 takes ages.

Try for HP on your pig at level 3 but don't blow all your hunt Gold on it - save for the buffs first.

Pet is a great investment, but it is just that an investment, you need to keep the hunger above 0, then it levels per minute reducing the food by 1. It starts off fairly quickly and then gets increasingly slower. I believe that 1-10 is 29 days (might be wrong).

I've only got about 500 hunt gold atm, does the loyalty go down pretty quick? I remember the mounts on mir 2 used to go down quite fast.

Also, with the temporary buffs, is it 7 days of game time you receive? Or 7 days real time? I was tempted just to buy perm ones as I cant play that much to keep the temporary ones running

All buff are play time mate. They pause when stood in SZ too.

Loyalty? Not sure what you mean.

As for buffs they pause in safezone or when you are logged out. So it's 7 days of play time. Hunt Gold is earned once per minute by killing a mob, with a 3 minute buffer (it stacks to 3 being stored up).

Pet hunger doesn't pause, it always ticks down, once per minute. When hunger reaches 0 you lose the buffs. There is a sticky post here with the options for each level listed. The list are the maximums, every increment in-between is possible.

With buffs, aim to get the Mir Package first, temporary first then perma when you can. With the other buffs, try to keep your temp ones up at all times and get a perma one when you have surplus.

You can buy the shop items with in game gold if people have put them on the market place, so you can catch up by hunting cash and then buying the buffs as well.

Great news about buffs. I wasn't up for buying a 7 day buff if I couldn't make any use of it haha

Only advice I can give you is do not make a wizard buddy. Wizards suck, you can ask top 5 wizards in game lol i would advise you to make a warrior
