As for everything else... Most servers that are up atm will give you a link, where the server patchs will b there. Just d/l them and away you go

You don't need 1.4 to connect to our server, jsut goto our website and download the Transform files, they will convert any version of mir to private server standards. If you are planning on play on our server make sure you use the trans files before installing the other patch's, other wise it may **** up.
