No Map viewers working

Hi i have a problem, basicly i download a working map viewer or editor, it will not work. I will load a file into the program, and the only thing i will get is BLACK screen in the program, instead of the map. Furthermore im not loading a wrong map or a map that the program does not support because i tried so many different programs with soo many different files. Can someone help?

Also does any 1 know when i change something in sql crualdragon3g monster section for example, when i change exp, the hen cow etc exp goes down to very low?

Before edit, the cow will give me 32 exp, after adding a line in sql, i will receive 8 exp. Any 1 came across that?

to me the program works, start the program from the folder on your client where is the data, map .. etc and you would have to operate

to change the exp of a mob head to crueldragon3gbasedata/hl_monster and see that you listed above to edit the hp, exp, .. there you change to your liking.

I got that problem, but when I moved it to a client folder, it worked properly

unpack a fresh copy and copy into you client folder, it should then ask you if you wanna build something cant remember but say yes then load a map, bottom right hand side of program is a size button make the map smaller and you will see it

Sorry guys. It does not work on some computers. 3D accelerator must be turned ON(3d must be on). Furthermore colour quality must be 32bit.

yep, the Tool use DirectX so you need 3D accelerator. Most Problems I know with my editor is Intel OnBoard Chips, most don't work.

Everytime I try to run Illusion Map editor it says it can't find the dll and to reinstall program any ideas?

Yes I allready write the solution to the last page...

To use the version (7.0.1), copy the dll from the lib foulder and change the name to d3dx9_33.dll...

im well into making new maps not gonna use them or release them untill i get them just right
