I know its a noob Question, im expecting flames

but

DC - MC

weapons have like 25 - 50 dc when a wiz weapon has 3-13

what does this equate too with regards to dps as items etc when gemmed go up by 1 if its dc or mc

difficult to phrase as a question so hope you get what I mean lol

IMHO the best way to test the "balance" between DC and MC ingame is to have a warr and wizz with max luck and use a trainer.

Yes
I think i know what you mean - if DC Scales 3 or 4 times above MC then why doesnt DC gem give 3-4 extra stats for MC gems 1 extra.

If so then I cant really think of a good answer tbh

Hmm.

Would this mean that warriors and assassins and archers are getting shafted because their stat gain from gems is basically 1/3rd that of a wizz? Depending on the scale, of course.

Tbh accessories and armours dont scale that much..it's mainly weapons that have a huge gap. That was always the case..imo if u make DC gems to give x (where x is above 1) extra stats will make warrs / sins / archers too powerfull (even if x = 2). Could be wrong tho..should test it :P

Actually there is a lot to gain from gems and the potential of 3 socket items.

6 additional Stats on various item types in fact.

I'm surprised people are only just realizing this though, its been the same since euro.

I think the DC sales differently per class?

for Sins 1 DC = 1.5 Damage.

always hated this tbh mc has far more potential from refining than a warr does imo

Yup 1DC on sin = 1.5x

1DC on a warrior = 1x for TDB or 2.6x for FS

1DC on archer I believe its 2.25-2.5x for fireshot

Yes, but Warrior, Archer and Sin weapons start with higher Stats. DC on other items such as bracers / necky is a different matter though seems a bit unfair to the wizz equivalent.

tbh mc can't be calculated like that because there is no way to use mc without some sort of equation (mc is only used in spells). Where as dc can be used with or without spells and most would work this out without looking at the spells.
