I was just wondering about mob drops. How does it work? I understand each mob has a drop files but I was wondering when what it drops is decided, is it when the mob spawns or when it dies?

Secondly did Karma attully exsist or is it made up?

When it dies. There is a body luck value but I don't think it has ever affected mob drops.

Every item has a drop chance, i.e;

1/1 - Will always drop
1/10 - For every 10 of this mob killed 1 should drop
1/100 - For every 100 of this mob killed 1 should drop
2/1 - For every 1 of this mob killed 2 should drop

So a typical BoneFighter drop file:

1/1 = 100% Chance, 1/2 = 50% Chance, 1/5 = 20% Chance, 1/10 = 10% Chance and so on.

Some people get "Lucky" when an item drops. Something could be 1/1,000,000 And get it in the very first drop.

Once it drops I think the item recycles. So you have to get that luck again to be able to obtain it twice in 2 drops.

If they do then that means there "Very Lucky". (But doubt they'd get this lucky).

1/10 etc is only accurate if an infinite number of mobs are killed.

just because you kill 10 mobs dont mean you should get the item. its always 1 in 10 chance not - 1 in 10 for 1st kill then 1 in 9 for next kill so on and so forth.
