If you use avg then I'm almost posative thats whats doing it.

AVG seems to have the biggest problems with it.

yeh its avg u have to go into exceptions and allow ur mir folder

tbh stay well clear of avg and get nod32

The only way you can get this to work is uninstall avg,

since the last big update by avg it dont allow packed and unpacked with themida

i had this problem on my laptop and dam avg deleted my m2server was lucky tho had a backup.

Nope are NOT from antivirus are from 1 update at Windows, f.uck the Micros... and me I have it this problems in the past and i have NAV(NortonAntiV.) like now, and this dont make the problems. How I fix this problem, I make all the time when my PC work just fine , one Restore Point, and I return back to an earlyer date of time, and I dont reinstall this update. I dont remember the name of update,... use the force Luke(SystemRestore), is only way to escape from this security protection(idiot). punk:

reason it shows as an error is because its hexed.
most people get confused when they get a threat error on there antivirus,
but who all read this thread dont threat its commen all u need to do is disable firewall or add to exceptions as Liandrin2 said earlyer.

Nops very wrong this can appear and with others programs like CS exe, or some cheats for Cstrike. How I said is after windows update, for Security Center files. U DONT must to install this update. Use System Restore for this for an earlier configuration!

you what,think im wrong no no im not wrong my friend, a mir exe has an anti speed cheat inside it that what can trigger it.
