Never played Arcadia myself but from what I can gather from the comments the jist I’m getting is...stalls

Arcadia and it’s 80 stalls are like legal highs from the local bong shop, it’s legal, it’s legit, outsiders still think your high on drugs.

As opposed to a server running 80 bots as miners with multi clients open...this server is crack cocaine...illegal...outsiders still think your high on drugs.

Conclusion - 1 has found a loop hole.

HE doesnt have an online ranking, observer or anything that LOMCN can verify.
We can blame the stalls but he can add +20 or +30 usercount easily.

Years ago I was hooked on a game called Priston tale - it used stalls instead of market NPC. I used to spend hours running around the main town browsing people stalls, loved it lol. I wish more servers used them instead of TM

Zedina there is a ranking page on Arcadia. In my last message my advice if you were worried about usercount was to check and compare it with highest levels to see the activity of the server.

Arcadia stalls are a feature but it's also got the AH feature that other servers do but most people prefer stalls for items where the 10% ah cut is too pricey. So any stall users are doing so at their own choice to sell items they have ah too just like any other server.

I know you said you logged on ect but unless your playing at 130 plus your not going to see anyone as any pre 130 content is dead.

My above is based on being a player in arcadia in one of the best guilds I have been apart of in my years of mir called the third dawn and regardless of time was always a few users online with peaking around 8 to 10 users and that was just one guild was about 3 other we competed or allied with before you include smaller guilds.

i used to love the stalls on acem2 before they removed them for chrons, hunting round for a bargain.

I used to love stalls on all the games I played, like others have said, walking around a bustling town trying to find a bargain (or when you find someone who accidentally missed off a 0 on their price <3)

Arcadia’s user count has been bollocks for ages , no reason to start crying over it now

Unless your server has just been killed off by WoW and your scrabbling to keep face

Stalls are all well and good when theres 200 active players on a server, when theres max 50 active players and the other 50 are stalls it's a problem, especially when it has Archons Auction House button and has done for 2-3 years now, don't know why stall's wasn't taken out there.

They was fun on Acem2 but that was because you could actually buy them without spending ££, look through the stalls on Arcadia 95% of stuff that useful is just priced for GG, it's bad enough your 100% forced into buying skills books for £

We all know Mir isn't dead, people just got bored from a spate of servers lacking longevity and balance (which is obviously very hard to do to appease the masses between casual and no lifers always being at different stages).
Since Chronicles we've had Apoc > Valk > TPR > Warcraft??
Apoc started on the wrong foot and immediately got in to trouble with content and balancing, constant changes that should have been sorted in beta.
Valk started well but lacked a team to properly manage and keep it going imo.
TRP i can't comment but looked like it had very good stuff from what i saw in beta but lacked the numbers because of the timing of release with apoc/valks servers, people just cba, myself included.
Warcraft... Again can't comment about the actual game, lazy from my perspective as it has no link to WoW and just a vanilla mir server which will be gone soon because its aimed for bosses/pvp too early from what i've read.

Mir community just needs/wants a euro clone but with plenty of new stuff/additions at a steady pace, not low rate but not high either. Genuinely think Chrons had it right but eventually the team gave up amidst the balancing issues. Definitely the best server i played since euro, hence still mucking around on it here and there instead of starting again. That euro reborn and another server look promising though. Hopefully enough time will pass before release and they'll gain numbers back if releases after the summer.

Edit: but naturally the content will never be 'new' as such but healthy competition and balance is what keeps a server going.

Im not convinced the community really does want a euro clone. If they did then why isn't there a Crystal version of one on the server list? Crystal file have been available for a few years now. Pretty sure there would be one on there if the demand was so high for one.

The ONLY way to combat no lifers v casuals is a lvl cap like WOW.

Ppl slate this idea.

If it’s done so you can as a no lifer hit the cap and grind for legendary gear which would still boast well for status and PK.

It keeps it all together more and the only way a server these days can make everyone happy.

(Were not all at school anymore playing in the evenings, half of us have time to play the other half only have a couple hours)

Sorry, when i say euro clone, i mean it in the loosest sense. Basically the OG maps, mobs and overall feel..but with new fresh mobs, items, caves and level caps.

Basically what Valk + TRP did but high end you need more variety of gear of kit and perks (like what hercs saying) tiered items to keep it interesting but not allowing the no lifers to get so far ahead level wise that no1 else cba to keep tabs/up with.

Also it doesnt help with all these quick cash grab servers that have gone up in the last 12-18 months.

Problem with slapping a level cap on is that you risk the "no lifers" getting bored and leaving the server. You need to find a fine balance between having enough content but not too much content that the casuals can't ever be on a level playing field.

I don't like the idea of a hard level cap. A soft cap seems to always fit into Mir better imo.

Stalls are **** if they are even still there. But can't fault the fact he has tonnes of content & custom additions to satisfy players.

Cant say the same about you. You been acting superrior on all threads, topics, etc. But the fact is that you wont ever open a server of your own because if it flops, all the hatred and the superiority you acted on every posts on all of these lomcn users, it will backfire on you.

The irony is astounding.

You not having the capacity to distinguish between acting superior and giving an opinion is laughable. Tho nothing new here, it's the internet after all.
Feel free to give some examples, I'll check back later.
