Does anyone know what format the jumbled up text in the npc scripts is in as i want to translate it into korean and then into english? surely someone knows how to get this to display in proper language rather than jumbled up chars?

Erm find a korean to english translater, copy and paste all the "jumbled up text" into it, and voila, should work . If not then i got no clue.

Hi - we tried that but it doesnt seem to work as the jumbled up text isnt korean so it cant translate - we need a program to turn it into korean, then we can translate - tried doing it via a korean site i.e putting nonesense text into boxes for text on site and then selecting korean for encoding but alas no joy also

I think the text may be in chinese, try a couple of languages like that, you may end up having it

umm, yes i want to also fix that jibberish writing that a few npc's have what do i do....

you need to enable Korean and chinese surport on your pc then your comp will know what to do with it

as i am on my work mac at the mo i cant step you through it but its in the control panal on you pc

I Can't do that, my pc came with no xp disk (like all new pc's), just microsoft being cheap.

is it not against the law not to supply the owner a hard backup of the OS
I know they stick it on the HDD but there still should br a hard copy

if that is the case then u may not need the cd

but i would get onto Micro(take all your money and give you nothing)soft and demand a hard copy of your OS

True, it's partitioned on my HDD, i suppose they think if they give you a copy you'll put it on loads of computers but not being funny, you've paided for it, so why can't you use it how you want?
