A bit later than expected, but the items database is now complete with only about 5% of the original Mir items remaining.

"even better tha the lom2 server" you cannot say that as no1 on here apart from me and the server team know whats ingame, whats being created, and the amount of information you can get from ingame out of game.

Anyways server looks ok

1. The Guild maps: Starting with your basic map, you have to draw up plans for your town. the map will be updated regualarly and you can add various features, some will give your town more defense against attackers, some will allow you more features, give you more options, make shop prices cheaper, and so on. To Make a town, you have to complete a quest and form a guild. The quest will provide you with what you need for the guild, and guilds will be limited ingame so that we dont have loads of sparely populated towns.[See Also - Attacking towns]

2. Sabuk war: Its finally going to have a real use. The sabuk wall wr will provide the sabuk holders with special maps that give higher rates of exp and rare items. So owning it is the best way to get ahead in the game.

3. Higher powers: With the fact you can now level for a lot longer in the game comes the challenge with spells. They will be spaced out slightly more, but also made more powerful to compensate. I will also take one spell from each class and set it as a god spell. These spells come in rings, only one ring will exist for each spell in the server at a time. They will be very very powerful, but the ring will have low durability.

4. Attacking towns: Decided that someone has a temple u would like to raid, perhaps an NPC or feature you want to use. Well your choice is simple, try and break into their town. There are possibilites to get into other towns via secret temnple connections and NPC's, but they are hard, the easiest way is to PK one of their guild members and hope they drop a key to the town. This will leave you open to easily attack the town and raid the rewards.

5. Item Combining: [Concept being worked on] Im looking at making it possible to take 2 items and combine those items into a more powerful one with stats taken of each item. S say you had a DC0-30 Mace and a DC 5-25 attack speed + 1 sword, you could combine them and get an average of the stats giving you a 3-27 attack speed +1 weapon. I May also make it so you can use special stones etc to add extra stats while doing this. This is something i need feedback on.

6. Invasions: GM events always seem a bit too choreogrpahed and predicatable. So to liven things up, certain NPC's and Quest sections, or even just entering a map have a small possibility of trigerring a spawn of mobs somewhere. These invasions will be huge and you will die a lot trying to defend your town. But the rewards (if there are any) will be significantly awesome. (The reason i say *if any* is simply becuase some guilds may not be able to defeat the invading army, in which case a GM will step in and emove the creatures. Winning the Invasion has a 75% chance of giving you a rare item.

7. Expansion: Temples, lands and areas will continually expand as people explore more and more. The server will be run by a small and dedicated team, who i will also ask to play the server as normal players. The reason being as i have found many times, playing the server gives you a good idea of what needs to happen on there. Updates will be done at the very least once a week, to fix bugs and add content.

Ill post more newws as it becomes availble, I would also really really like to hear other peoples input, becuase it will help improve the server. Dont be afraid to tell me your ideas. If you dont want to say them in public, then PM me. But please note: Dont send me your ideas if your going to turn round and constantly say "i was the one that told you that" or similar words, you wont be rewarded for your feature either, ecept for the fact you will understand it better than the rest at first. This isnt an opportunity for you to gain over everyone else, but mroe an opportunity to get what you want out of the server and share the experiance with others.


ROFL sounds exactly like my server except your's will probably be up first as we've got lots lots more to add other than the above. I've got Item Combining but it's not quite as complicated as that one.

o.0 im hoping your not suggesting i stole ur ideas, cos i posted these ideas aaaages ago, but then decided i couldnt be arsed making the server.

Mine probably wont be up first, cos ive got way more to add than just that as well, but i decided not to post all my ideas cos im worried some of the better ideas will be stolen by noobs.

(not that im implying you will steal cos i know ur just as capable as me of making up new features, but other people rely on stealing everyone else's work)

No I'm not suggesting that don't worry. You think exactly like me Atomicide lol. All mine have been in my offline server as I've done closed testing on it.

It'll be sad to see that a copy both our ideas will probably end up in some n00bs server later on :(

o and btw for host of this server block port 6k and eny otha thing u can block cus ull need it to stop port 6k hackers etc and gl on server

Woah, been a while since ive updated this, but dont panic ladies, im still working on it.

So far ive scrapped anotehr database becuase i wasnt happy with it, and id rather start afresh than try and amend poor work.

The latest database is nice and healthy, all the original items have been cleaned out (except spellboocks and pots etc) There are now 200 custom items in there, with another 400 or so planned to be added.

Ive also started scripting some of the invasions etc into the server, making full use of the functionalities.

Maps have been started on as well, but from tomorow, im going to work solely to complete the databases, then move through the files completing each section as i reach it.

Theres tons to do, but im getting through it. This is obviously going to take a lot longer than planned, but the end result will be a brilliant server.

Just to give people a taster of that would be available stat wise, the top ring stats for each class are as follows (Please note: The best 5 of each item tpye for each class *eg, top 5 wizard rings* will only drop once, untill it dissapears, another one wont drop)

Warrior: Attack Speed +7 MAC 0-7 DC 5-17
Wizzard: AC0-5 MC 0-25
Tao: AC0-3 MAC 0-3 DC0-3 SC3-15

AlsoNote: These are items are level 50 and level 50 is the current max level for the server.

how did u get AMC0-7 and Speed+7 on same ring? and btw i think that ring is abit stupid speed+7 compared to the wiz/tao version

Yeah, it seems stupid compared to the MC 0-25 ring...lol. Wiz one has AC and the warr one doesn't. Tao one has AC, AMC and DC so they all seem pretty equal to me.

Glad to see server is still going ahead. And good to see a nice low max level. Don't like servers where levelling over 50 is deemed normal. Good luck with the server and if you need help with anything...:P [email protected].

sounds awesome, i've suggested the "item combineing" to a few ppl, but they could never B arsed to do it, i thin its a great idea :) (like the sockets in diablo)

also teh guild town thing sounds good, and finnally a purpose 2 SW :D

twas a type, i didnt mean to put the AMC in there, + the warrior ring is being looked at now.

Also note plz. Beta testing could be a long way off, theres some very complicated scripting being worked on at the moment and its taking me a hell of a long time, but the stuff its capable of will be awesome.
