Keep them in till maybe the end of january but 2-6 on stats is a crazy addition. Easter medallions were a nice touch and they had the drawback of not allowing the use of hardtorches. There's no downfall to wearing a non-drop, non-breakable, extra holystone.

I do agree, but at least they are consumable so gone after use. Trees don't lose dura with HardTorches equipped so can last forever.

Maybe just have them lose dura regardless of HardTorch and they will eventually phase out, popping up occasionally for pvp

There is no reason they should do anything.
I would rather they got on with something else than do this.
The trees baubles n santa kit were supposed to be removed they werent.
You've had the extra stats for 2 more weeks now.
They should just be removed and we can all put that event behind us and get on with something else.

Why should anyone have all those extra stats for extra weeks?
It was an event. Remove the event items
Wanting to have more stats heads towards med/high.
Take them away now.
OK the event didnt work out as planned but asking for handouts or sympathy and loading guilt onto the devs shouldnt work.
You used the extra stats for weeks now. Thats enough .

It makes no sense @all.
Medalion 0-1...it was set up perfectly/dura/no HT.
Xmas tree is somewhat 'op' as it stands.

if ppl were stupid enough to kill the ginger bread men and leave there drop on the floor then thats there fault, i made 4 trees between to characters just by picking up drops ppl left on the floor mostly
every1 had ample time to make these items.

This seems to be 50/50 between players

On one hand I can understand the players who missed out due to the expiry date but there was a post both here and facebook saying they would be extended after the event.

On the other hand, if players decided not to make them why should they just be handed them or given an extra chance to make them, it is unfair on the players that went to the trouble to make them.

What I am thinking of doing is readding an expiry date to them and working on other items for the slot, that way players that missed out will be able to get other items for the slot and players that made the item can use it for a couple more weeks.

I feel this is the fairest thing for all players.

I would have picked up the items if I could trade them, how do you expect me to kill a gingerbreadman on my alt at level 10? :P

The quest was shambles, you could sell / buy / trade snow flakes but not icicles. There was so many flaws in the event - even those kinds of little things.

There is an idea among the Server Team for that slot, item and quest related but it is still in its early stages.

all in all thanks for the replies, I have my answers, new starters need not fear and those that did make 50 because they "used their brains" sorry to say they will expire.
