Ocassional spike lag

Before the server is lauded too much I must say I get a spike lag once in a longer while (can play for an hour or so but sooner or later it hits, a week or two in the past it was much more frequent, I got the impression it tends to happen with respawns or when somebody comes near when you can just hear them but not yet see, but probably the time is just random.
This time it got me because I was in BC luring mobs and got stuck in a spot long enough to go down. Makes me feel so unsecure and unfair. Yesterday the spike happened on PI but luckily I was in between mobs, else I would surely go down too.

I lag spike on the spot, completely freeze but if I use a pot I unfreeze strange, but lag is expected with over 400 active people online.

I took a pot when it happened to me this time but it didn't help, the release came a bit later after that. Taking pots or whatever may be just a coincidence since most time the lag freeze doesn't last too long, just long enough to make think to do something like taking the pot.

I must say that I only got d/c once on this server, and the spikes were more frequent in the first week, prob too many pple on as you say.

Yea I get randoms jolts of lag. Sometimes it can last 15 seconds or more. Most of the time it's while I'm on a big hunt with friends.
