you can host a server on 512 ddr ram i believe.

u can host a server, with hardly any spawns, yea on 512, tbh u need 1gb to host a decent server....

actually you could host on 128+ lol. With not an overload of spawns (like tox said) it would be fine. Would just have to reboot a fair bit. Atm my PC has 192MB RAM, which i am able to host with (I host ProphecyServer atm). But some people complain they lagg on it etc. But others say they dont lagg etc lol.

But yes, 512 is fine for a server. Even 256 is good, think it was IceMan who said he was hosting foundation 1.9 server when it had 60-70 players on it and he was hosting with 256 MB RAM :P

Chronicle, i wouldnt trust you. Is it not odd, that on MSN you told me you have some mates who have made a server with you, and you are on the team, and the server is going up soon? And now you want to host a 1.4 server, even though you have your own server? Very suspicious IMO.
