I said from the start that he should wait until Archer has been fully released, creating a complete custom class is such a no no, although he has done a decent job i just feel once people see the official Archer they will complain and ask for this and that.

Also dose Archer use DC on Korean Mir? I would of thought it would be a mix of DC/MC tbh.

Archer class is far from gimped. Try hunting outside of your comfort zones without any archers.

Unless archers are pve focused where they're massively out scaled by assassins they ain't got much rolling for them once assassins and wizzies get bda they'll be beating archers in pvp np . Yes archers are nice against bosses due to high hits but that's about everything they bring and yes 5 archer focusing 1 player seems broken but 5 wizzies spamming ff together as a squad is 10 times more stupid to deal with and once you have 5 wizzies with kektals shooting at people spamming ff well See how much that archer is going to do

Assassin is not the same as Korean Mir either but ohwell... I think they've done a pretty decent job making these two classes fit in on here.

Wondering why assassins are whining bout getting gutted by a warr with tdb thou

The thing with sins on here is they get hurt a lot more then an archer, even tho the hp is pretty much the same, I can easy kill a sin in a few TDBs but an archer the same sort of lvls takes abit more dmg, sins have more hp but get hit harder, archers have less hp and can take more, it don't make sense, just glad I rolled war over sin lol

i never meant for this to be a flame towards Sam I was just looking and thought I would show. maybe if we can get some of these into play would be brilliant, just that we cant see how they work. if I could get onto Korean mir2 id happily play that and learn how some of them worked.

Heres how they work...

You shoot an arrow and it hits the mob, job done.

It's all well and dandy using Korean files as a guideline, but why would you want too? I could make MUCH better looking spells and have them do MUCH better things within 5 Minutes of work. Then again I guess certain people lack creativity...

I love my archer, there was a time when I didn't like him but as Kori said I tried a few things outside of the box and they paid off. I enjoy leveling him, I can make bare cash or exp on him and I merk people for days.

getting on is one thing, another as hard is making out the gibberish. Its not enough just to see gfx. And if you make archer char, most likely you won't be able to figure out skills anyway, to start with even to buy them from npc bookseller due to that gibberish and low low gold to experiment with.

Makes me wonder how much anybody knows about korean server skills and how much is a lore. Their servers are like euro 2001 with tacked on new features and its harsh and poor land to fend in :'( to raise a noob never mind the gibberish LOL

They look terrible for the most part, a column.. a totem ? i thought it was an archer not a shaman lol

Clearly their vision is not of an archer and more of shaman/witchdoctor, applying poison toads / totems / stealing life (2 vamp spells).

Regardless of how they look they'd provide the utility, survivability, DPS and fun factor severely lacking from the Archer class on Chronicles atm.

A level 44 Archer has the same HP as a level 22 Warrior and has 0 defensive abilities, no AoEs or pets to stagger opponents in PvP and at best can level 1/4 of the speed of a Wizard and also slower than the tanky Warrior class.

Without the traps and turrets/pets the Archer is relying purely on his/her own damage and DPS (which is failing in PvE) and as a result it's damage in PvP is too heavily reliant on Arrow Barrage, turning the class into a one-trick pony.

If ArrowBarrage is anything like beta I'm sure it will have to be nerfed leaving the Archer in the same situation of being unable to beat auto pot on this super low-rate server where levels and health pools are way too high for the out-going damage to counter.

I hope you guys do get the Archer right on here, it has so much potential and whether you look at the Korean spells or not doesn't matter as long as you realize your version is still half a class at best. I've all but given up hope and am just waiting to see what 2.0 brings but can't imagine it will bring a drastic improvement to the class that IMO it needs.

Aldor has been completely right about Archer and he has been saying it for a long time! I just hope Samuel pays attention. As the class was new, we new players had to trust the archer would be a balance character PvE wise as we personally hadn't been able to see it in action.

I really feel the class is underpowered and it's a proven fact we level slower, I can provide evidence (average Archer exp in top #100 players, my own experience of getting 800k/exp hr on lvl 33 sin vs 450k/xp hour on 36 archer increasing to 600k/xp hr once I had lvl 2 static shot. Today a lvl 29 assassin was out leveling me and I'm 10 levels higher.

It's really demotivating and we don't have tricks to pull out the bag, other than look I can use clone to get over walls and use slow on boss mobs with some degree of success. But what about when we're alone?

Maybe we should just have a passive skill that gives double exp per mob, lol :-P

The Archer is wrong on this server, they aren't supposed to have lower HP than Wizards and atk speed on items increases their cast speed on top of the spell that does it like the assassins. Archers need looking at quick and no moaning from anybody just get it done lad. This is like fourheroes all over again when ben and hany thought they'd try their own take on the assassin class and fell flat on their faces.

I'm basically playing chronicles for Archer class, I'm so bored with it I can only stomach playing for an hour or so. Its just too limited, I enjoy every other class but really want Archer. If they don't improve on 2.0 then I'm going to reroll.

No damage? What are you chatting? I hit 40 + players for 160-180 and have killed every class at 40 + in a 1v1 situation.

While we have our buffs up we're epic. Once they drop we're **** :P
