offilne 1.9 ?

is it possible to host a 1.9 emu server completely offline or does it need access to hosted reg server thing to run?

i followed the guide to the files but the [Reg] thing has me concerned. (im accessing lomcn at uni, running the server in my flat where i have no internet)

Yes you can. you will ned to host your own RegServer though on your 127.0.0.1 IP address. If your runnin Windows 2003 TCP/IP setting wont be messed up XP sometimes messes up not sure on Win98 and so on but if you use VMWare im not sure that it will i have to test it but

Run your own RegServer [127.0.01]
Setup files to connect to it
Setup files on 127.0.0.1
and it works thats how i test

Oh, you need to run it through someone elses because the orriginal makers made it so it ran through a main server so they could ban certain ip's from using the files so we redirected it to an online english server.

where the hell did you get that idea
the chinese just moved there reg server to a different IP which made the old one not connect as it was offline

They did not ban any ips for using it
the fact we dont use the new ip for the chinese reg server is the fact that we dont know the ip
