Old Mir Servers

Hey LOMCN,

I recently started playing Gravity, it's the first server I've played in many years.
I'm just wondering what happened to versions 1.4 - 1.9 servers, I mean around the times of Alpha FrOzEn / UnFrOzEn / Zarloc / Torozor (1.4 and 1.9 versions)/ Turok etc...

I don't see how these versions could have died out as in NO way are the newer versions better The game used to have a much simpler, smoother and all round better feel in my opinion.
I do understand it's been over 10 years since those 1.4 times and my request is probably a shot in the dark.
But I would like to know if there are any projects around to rekindle the types of servers that were around in Mir's prime, or even if there are any Upcoming servers? Existing servers?

The main issue with the files you speak of is how easy they are to exploit and cheat on. So many bugs were found it became unplayable, especially when nobody was willing to work on them.

Personally I think you should try out Chronicles/Arcadia and see how you feel about those newer-type servers. C# servers are in the works too (the "future" of mir) which is likely going to change a lot about Mir (in a good way) and put everyone onto an even level.

If somebody still had WeOwn files and put them up they would **** on any server up now by a long way in terms of how much fun you will have, not content as it's limited on them files really lol.
