I hope someone has got a little time to help me

iam trying to get my server online but not very sure what to do
i know its all about ips but which ones do i use and were do they go
iam not on a router and i can turn off my firewall if need also in the client i just change the mirsetup ini dont i to my net ip ?

A more specific question would warrant a more specific answer. You might as well ask me to copy and paste every thread on LOMCN for you into this thread. There are plenty guides to setting up a basic server and getting it online, both on this board and on several websites.

Try doing a little bit of research, if you have tried everything you can think of and still cannot get it working correctly then post the specific problem you have, not just a "ummm help plz it broke"
