Opening Error - Revisiting old Documents.

Hello all,

I have a problem at the moment with opening a .doc file. When I double click it, it loads office 2003 (word) and then gives me a pop up box as shown in Diagram 1 below.

I was wondering if anyone could provide a possible solution for this + it'd be much appreciated because this is an old school report (it was made in office 2003 [word] so I daresay that there would be any incompatibility problems!).

ps - the file was archived in a rar before I tried extractng/opening it.

Tried opening it in the "Microsoft Word Viewer 97/2000".

Thanks for the suggestion but when I open the file I get the following sort of distorted page. It's similar to when I forcefully open it in normal word (ignore the error)...
