Optical Mouse

Ive got a optical mouse and its so ****ing annoying some times, it moves... judders sort of thing side to side in the direction of left to the top corner of my screen!!!


it does it quite alot and its so annoying on the slitest things.... anyone know how i cud stop this? is it just cuz my mouse is cheap and ****e?


anyway... if u cant stop it im gunna rip this mouse a part and get a new one... its so annoying :furious:

i get that sometimes its like i just take my had off the mouse and it slowly moves to the top corners.

Good old normal mouse with a cord does the trick for me =P Use to have a Trackball until I got bored of cleaning it and it's somewhere in the garage now.

go into mouse settings in control panel and disable enhanced pointer percision should sort it out if not its most likely you brought a low grade mouse with happens when u move too fast invest in buying a 30-40 quid logitec mouse very good quality.

lol looks like ill be gettin a new mouse then :P i aint spendin 30-40 quid tho :O :P

i done unchecked that enhanced pointer perceision now i cant click nowt very well :P

Just get a new one then lol, Logitech MX510/MX700, you will DEFINTELY feel the difference.

What brand/model?

Have you changed mouse surface recently?

Try changing the batteries.

Quite sure it is.

Well i had the same problem, and i solved it just by putting my mobile away from the mouse :O and well anything like the radio or anything i think it also causes the mouse to do weird things.

Well I could tell a big difference in CS and other games compared to the M$ wireless mice, but it depends on how much you game I guess.

I quite like the MX1000, the MX700 is nice, and i used that as my main mouse for almost a year and a half, but at easter i upgraded to the mx1000, and it was certainly worth it (£50, but its a damn nice mouse, works really well on pretty much any surface, and it doesn't have any problems like described in this thread.)

The problems with optical mice was when you moved it quick, like in an FPS game the sensor couldnt update fast enough so it just flickered all over the place! Half my clan went back to ball mice for a time because of it!

I got a Dual Optical Logitech Mousman and have never had that, its got 2 800dpi sensors and it works a dream!! Most of my clan have em now LOL!! Although im gonna be upgrading to the Logitech LaserMouse soon like.... £40 on aria i think!!
