With the upgrades coming to Crystal Mir 2, I think a Poll on what OS you guys are running on will help gauge what upgrades can be done without restricting a huge number of people.
Please vote on what OS you are using to play Crystal Mir 2

I'm on Windows 10.

Will you be making a compatibility for 10 / 11 something like that?

New Net versions are coming out but support for older Windows Operating Systems may stop users playing if they are on those unsupported OS's

Forgive my ignorance, are these new files you are working on?

Voted W10
I did install W11 on some computers but found it has too many basic shortcomings, broken things that worked perfectly on W10, so now I will reinstall back to W10
Mind you I even use customized W11 (done by a group of pple that know what they are doing) that already does away with the dumb new features and which fixes some broken things but I keep finding new missing or not working or broken features that W10 had and mentally I have already thrown the towel in on W11
Expect it to be a historical repeat of W8

Even W10 latest editions have already started the trend to dumbing it down in preparation for totally dumb W11 and so I will go back to W10 2016 edition that I have been using long time and that proved just perfect for a serious work a day machine.

I have TinyXP & Beast edition somewhere on old disks but lately I noticed some more recent edition of it but all links I could find were dead. I think some closed group is holding it for themselves, probably always were and what got to public were leaked files.

I mean, whats more nostalgic than playing mir on WinXP :coffee:
I was on WinME when I first started mir.

PS - If running the files it better but does not support older systems - Who cares? We all have to be out with the old, in with the new eventually.

I had a lot of users struggling to connect to my autopatcher who were all using Windows 7. I couldn't help them and going forward don't think I will even attempt to.

Although not mir-related; steam has a software/hardware statistics survey located here: https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey as of April 2023 Windows 10 makes up the majority at 61.21% Windows 11 is 33.39% i personally have 2 computers running windows 10 and a laptop running windows 11, so i am not sure what my vote should be.
