yea but, he's gota be decently rich, to just buy a porsche for his son asoon as he starts driving,

say he's been driving over 20 years, he have a decent price, ALOT better insurance price then a 18 year old.

and btw, can pass your test at 17 :)

Yes i know you can pass at 17, used 18 as an example. idnt wanna ay 17, he may not pass at that age

edit: For a 39 year old, driving 10years+, with 10years+ driving experience, with an 18 nearly 19 year old son, liscence held for under one year, added onto his insurance, i got this quote: £4,542.35

Now, theres about 50 top insurance companys on the site i use, only 3... would give a quote.

that was on a Prosche Boxster, which is described as a "Poor mans porsche"

That's alright... You shouldn't drink and drive anyway!

Anyway, on the subject of cars. I do prefer the new shape Clio to the old one, I just think it's more aesthetically pleasing. However, one car I really like the look of is the Punto Active Sport, only thing that lets it down is that it's made by Fiat. :(

I currently drive a Ford Fusion 2, but I'm getting either a Focus or a Mini Cooper S soon. I hope.

Gonna start saving for a Golf/Focus.

I like older version of Clio, but newer version is better on the inside.

The Focus is a good sensible car. Although it pains me to say this but *bites lip* Ford do a really nice body kit for it. Yes, that's right. FORD! Lol.

Why not get a new one on finance, you'll probably get a fairly good deal and possibly a discount on insurance if you purchase it with the manufacturer(If they do it).

You should import a Skyline from Japan, they like 50% cheaper, you can get some great ones over 10 years, like a 1995 R33 for about £2,500 - £3,000 that dont need a SVLA test, just an MOT.

Insurance for a 18 Year Old, 1 Years No Claims cheapest I could find was £11000~ for fully comp and £7000 for Third Party FT!
