As I said before, someone else using these files could make a much better server. Other than the coding gone into these files for new features, it's nothing special or enjoyable at all.

On euro I had loads of decent drops from oma's.

This is why I like Mir as it's hard. The server has been out a month or so and people are 40 + and moaning about items. Yea' good one.
I remember hunting OmaCave during Dragon Server beta and being happy with HardGlove after 3 hours.... :S
Not everyone wants to fight to progress. Esp considering class balance, auto aim cheats, and they just dont have the spec of computer to compete.
Me I dont mind but im sure that there are loads who hate the system which is now in place due to tge above reasons.
I've not actually seen your speed in game but your brother and the people he hangs around with are faster than most people on the server, if I knew what to tweak to achieve those speaks I'd be fighting everyone.
people forget it still costs a lot to pot up for bosses in a grp and chances are ur not gonna get anything bk. firstly a boss has got to drop, secondly if a dc item drops chances are ther be archers wars and sins in grp, then u got to get a lucky roll. In my exp everytime ive been a boss im well outa pocket lol. I know that's the nature of the game but semi rares while hunting solo is needed also.
Haha class this like, server open one month ppl power grind to 40+ and because they outleveled natural progression they want their dss's and boundless rings

No where near enough bosses have been killed to warrant good drops, people should be in 26 weaps at 40, this is a Long term low rate server if you get a mace you should feel king ****, not bog standard,

I think it is OK for the fact that gems are so rare and refine is not ingame. When gem crafting and refines are ingame then drops can be increased a bit without flooding server.
Maybe a increase for harder places to drop the occasionsal rare, but too much.

Dno, people complain I'm speed cheating daily in PM's.
Having gone on my old 12year old "Mir" computer though, I can see why some people might think that. Everyone in town looked like they were speed cheating to me on that comp.
Like Jamie, I've done no tweaks - just windowed mode.
Most people aren't going to agree with me here but I think it's fine as it is.
Important question: are all items that should be available in the drop files? If so, fine.
Think, Euro was up for many years. It's been like... two months if that? Most people have spent the majority of their time leveling so far, as the months go on more people will camp bosses 24-7. Obviously drops will happen, I don't think people should be worried they don't have their J Mace as soon as they are level 30 when getting L30 is so easy.
On Euro you'd have to plan getting to L40 around the next two years and items the same, have some patience... I think it's fine as it is and even the gold changes so far make pot money more than possible. I really feel people have been spoilt by ridiculous servers where they think having a J mace is every mans right rather than privilege, and having their L35+ weapon is going to happen in the first 2 months.
Edit: for those will inevitable say "Y U MENTION EURO, THIS ISNT EURO" blah blah. Duh, it's much, much easier (and better). I mention it because it was a proper server with a longevity beyond all others, and most private servers are **** which are easy and you can max them out in a few months. Mir for life! lol
P.S. I obviously think the PB drop files should have a chance of something half decent on low odds, maybe are currently off (I'm just referencing the whole "It's ridiculously **** drops" vibe). The question is, do people want things like J mace in normal mobs drop files or just boss mobs. I think them being in PB drop files etc is a good idea, just don't think things should be upped to the levels some people seem to expect.
