"So during a lord fight, u start in BW. Leave guild via the NPC, RT to boss, ruin 20 weapons, once boss is dead u TT naturally back to the town and rejoin.

This idea, whilst good for a deep cave, is terrible for Lords, which is the only reason we are adding a cooldown."

Just wanted to start by saying until last night the server has seemed very steady recently.
You have clearly done a lot of work in between and it is appreciated!
Ignore the odd moaner about GG its very minimal on this server compared to others and that's why I like it.

I heard you said you would stop providing bosses to guilds following bugs within the server. I really hope you stick to this.
I know it must be hard but I really feel you shouldn't leak anymore information unless it is to the whole community, thus creating a level playing field.

As pointed out by tai my idea is the only one that actually works so no he didn’t answer it sufficiently at all ... all gms solution does is prevent them rejoining for 24 hours? What does that actually achieve? Nothing at all apart from inconviencing genuine players who wish to change guild, terrible solution to a very easily solved problem tbh

Other then that the rest of the update looks okay, seems abit bare on info and specifics but seems a lot been done so can’t complain 😊

Just code it so that when you leave a guild your attack mode is peaceful for an hour. Noone can complain at that and it solves the issue completely.

Actually not a bad idea Robert!

I haven't played in a while, If i log in now and the guild i'm in is dead.. I can leave it but then i'm solo for a day... will get bored and quit again :X

This is my issue/concern.

p.s. if you do play again let me know ^^

Now whilst this seems like an npc fix would resolve this, the only thing this will resolve, is it happening in 10 seconds, it will happen in 30. People will just run to the NPC and leave guild.

Then go have the fight, and return, speak to NPC again.

Im not fussed if its the two big guilds or the solo guildless player, people getting intentionally grifed to a point where they dont wear there best weapons destroys some of the best fights in the game.

Lets be quite frank here.. As it stands right now, Bomb Squad and Curse 10 are the only 2 guilds actually killing the Lord, so if protection is in place to prevent their weapons being destroyed, you can see it like its only for them, but the minute a new guild take over, they receive the same protection.

I think there is defiantly room for a better implementation, and like we said, this is a band aid whilst we come up with our long term goal, but its not 1 that causes harm to the normal player.

The Cooldown only stops them rejoining so how would this prevent people cursing?

The point of putting an NPC in bw is that people have to leave the fight to leave guild then return, tbh if they do this and the person with luck 6 then kills them anyways don’t they deserve to curse? I mean how is that any different then someone running a noob to the lord fight?

At least the BW solution doesn’t penalise the entire population of the game that aren’t in C10 or BS ... I mean if I wanted to leave my guild and join another now waiting 24 hours is extremely off putting ... all because people want to PK at a boss and not lose their luck..?

Why not simply make it so you cannot leave guild while your guild is in an active war? That way nobody would curse and nobody from any other guild needs to pay an uneccesary penalty ... if they go to a lord and they aren’t warred then it’s their own fault? It’s that simple ...

I like Skylines suggestion if forced peaceful for an hour if you leave guild, but I can't help but feel that'll also kill some of the best rivalry fights that goes down when a guild disbands. Tough one, but I have a better idea.

Personally I think two things need to happen first and foremost:

Number 1 is fix the bug, whereby if 2 guilds who are guild warred attack each other, they go brown to everyone else. This is essentially "inviting" every level 10-20-30 noob to attack you for free and is probably the main source of griefing atm, as you cannot attack back because they do not go brown.

Secondly, create a mode called Enemy where you can only attack Brown, Orange, or Green named players. This way, if you are on this mode, you literally can never be griefed if the above bug is fixed. Someone would need to attack you first, and they would go brown, and you'd be able to retaliate. As it stands, you are forced to stay in Enemy Guild Mode, which only lets you attack Orange players, not brown players.

By doing this you eliminate a LOT of grief play. Then to fix the scumbags who leaveguild *cough* BombSquad *cough* mid fight (whether to grief or to try and jump a drop when a boss dies and prevent all incoming damage from those who've gone Enemy Guild mode) I think when you leave guild your name needs to go green for lets say 3hours, as you are essentially neutral now and in a period of waiting. This also lets others know you've just left a guild. You're free to join any new guild any time you want to get rid of it, or remain guildless and go white.

No cooldown on guild required, and imo everybody wins.

This solution completely screws any form of carrot baited quick guild recruitment for all us folk not in BS and C10. Frankly I don’t care about the luck on there weapons....I do however care about building something in this game. Please look into other means.

Agreed, we try and lure people in with quick wit and sarcasm... Give them 24 hours to sober up and they'll realise we're clinically insane and end up joining Conor McF*ckNugget and his band of merry c*nts.

They can be peaceful but still be killed and cause grief play. This again does not stop them griefing.

Its about and around the same ideas we have been throwing around the last few days. (we have our solution like iv said multiple times, its just not implemented yet, this is a band aid whilst we code what we want in)

It is an anti deter-ant, it will prevent people choosing to leave guild for inconvenience.

I dont just sit behind my Pc making random ideas :P, unfortunately for me (because you guys dont see it) i see this happen every single Lord fight, players @leave guild As soon as the Lord spawns. This is abusing a system thats been in mir for ages. We dont like it, we are working on a way around right now. Until our final version is complete, this is our stop gap to do what we can in the mean time

And when they realise his most favourite go to game is sleeping lions... they quit, we don’t want this.

I don't play your server any more but on glancing at the patch notes, if this is happening as you say and you really want to stop it.. Why put an item in the gameshop to allow people to mitigate the effects of your change? People who have money to donate will no doubt leave and grief, buy the item and rejoin anyway if they feel the lord is worth it. Unless the point of the GS item is to make normal players who leave a guild to join another, buy your item if they don't want wait 24 hours?

Either way it kinda doesn't make sense to me :lol

Not being funny, just wondering about the thinking behind it.

Make an NPC in BW sz that allows you to leave guild when u want, however when a LordSpawns make that npc to not work till Lord is dead . So ppls cant leave guilds in fights as they need to be in town for that and if they wana do for Lords then they wont be allowed.
