I may be mistaken, but are people claiming paul isn't trustworthy but daydie is? oO

The funny thing is ive never ever ever not been trustworthy.
I treat every one the same and have never scammed or did any thing bad to anyone.
I am 100% trust worthy and have never ever been accused of anything in the past.
This whole thead was posted to slag me off.

It's quite obvious that paul.obrien can build a decent server. This does seem a bit like a "bandwagon" thread.

There have been so many "clone servers" over the last few months that have amounted to nothing as people just logged on and saw the same old stuff again. However both of paul.obrien's servers have had quite a decent user count and from what i've been told (Never played them myself) we're quite good. Now if they were just straight forward copy's of another server (As being suggested), they surely would have suffered the same fate as many of these recent "clone" servers have, and had single figure users for a week or two and then disappeared.

Pre-made files can be a good place to start if you are learning how to build a server for the first time, as all the information and techniques are there for you to look at and learn from. If these files help more servers to spring up in a quickly diminishing Mir community then it can only be a good thing. However these files should be used with caution, don't just put them up as you get them, learn from them, improve/change them, any additions can only make it better.

I'll leave this thread open for now, as i think there is a serious underlying topic in the form of "Clone files", but if it turns back into a slagging match i will close it.

I learnt from playing about with just the euro mir files. Many moons ago that is :err: but nonetheless you will find yourself doing things so easily within days.

made me lol, he cant make a server to save his life, his was a complete fail from start to finish, and is a complete moron when playing, crying 24/7.

on note of paul....tried your servers didnt like them but thats down to my preference not because they were bad just wasnt what I wanted to play.

One of the only guys actually trying to keep Mir going is getting slatted by the whole community of players... who havn't actually got a clue about server creation.

Ben what on earth are you talking about.
I gave darkrealm away because i wanted to make another server.
I did not ask a penny for it.
I made salvation and made next to nothing off it but i just closed it because of a tragedy in my life which is stoping me from running it.
I offerd it to a GM FOR FREE to look after while i recoverd but they couldnt do it,
So i now have no choice but to close it.

I have not gone back to darkrealm.
I have always worked on darkrealm ever since i gave it away.That has never changed.

So i have no idea where you get these crazy statements from but i am getin sick of you talking all the bull **** about me every chance you get.
Your a disgrace and you need to read what you type.

If you wanna start this whole ben v paul thing again then thats fine.
Just post facts and not **** you dream up in your head.

why would anyone want to buy your server files? they aload of crap not hard to make a server. only server files id be happy buyin is 4H/Elysian but thats only with no bugs

look If any of you lot had a guy offering you money for some server files, you would be a div not to take it.
And reasons for his servers going up and down sound reasonable, give the guy a break.

Bon you cant really say anything about money money money lol, look at OS I played that from the start, and soon as you relised people would pay stupid money for stupid items. You started knocking them out, I must of seen atleast 5 + people turn up on ur server in a week lvl 90 + with full OS kit (Best kit ingame, just so people no)

If pob wants to sell Items,Files,Himself let him do it, nothing to do with any of you. Cause from what ive seen, hes quite a helpfull guy.
