But if he does want to get the best thing out there, and wants to spend all hes cash on a perfect PC, and i am pretty sure some time soon there will be new games out wich will require even more resources than the ones out ATM. and the PC will come in handy when you like to run games at the highest quality.[Shadow] said:

Your video card actually does not allow you to even choose the highest settings (namely the DX9 path, which is incompadible with the GF5 series video cards.)
I also highly doubt your even running 1600x1200 high detail high aa/af.

A little bit OT - i downloaded source, and my mate has let me use hes steam account, so awyways.. i would of thought that i could play with settings that would actually look somehow, now with 256 colors or something like that, but if i go on settings on wich the game could be played, it laggs like hell, also the weird thing is that it laggs even at the fromt screen, maybe there is a patch for some sort of glitch wich makes it lag or something? I havent really played much after i found out it laggs like hell.urbanfox said:

Well, i have set the settings pretty low, as low as i can go untill the graphics go really crap and it is worthless to play. I can play HL2 pretty well, barely any lag and the graphics on there are set to pretty much fine.urbanfox said:

It appears that my drivers are out of date now (first time i receive this message). I dont know wich ones to get though, on that page when i select radeon, there isnt a xcalibur type drivers or anything, i am simply not sure what to download, can you give me a direct link please
